Donate a Book Project
This is a project where alumni are encouraged to donate new or used books to the Francis Idachaba Library at the University, as a way of giving back to the University that has helped shape our future.
This project was initiated by pioneer national president of the Alumni Association, Professor Isaac Itodo in 2005 and was reinvigorated in 2011 by Jerome Ijachi Odeh and Benjamin Jila.
There will be regular updates on the status of project on this page while the full details of donated books and list of donors are available on the left navigational menu when you login to the website.
28th December 2011 Update
- 73 books donated so far donated since June 2011, 10 of which have been delivered to the library
- 146 journals & magazines so far donated since June 2011
- 20 alumni have so far donated books and journals since June 2011
30th November 2011 Update
- 44 books donated so far donated since June 2011, 10 of which have been delivered to the library
- 55 journals & magazines so far donated since June 2011
